Teddy’s Florist was established in 1922. We are a friendly, family owned and operated florist with 25 years of professional floral design experience.

Our original, imaginative, inventive and artistic floral designs will help you send flowers for any occasion to anywhere in the US and the world. We offer contemporary, high-style and traditional arrangements and bouquets and we take the time to assist you in making your choice.

We take extra care in creating loving and thoughtful funeral tributes and remembrances and sympathy arrangements.

For your wedding, our designer is available by appointment only to help you in your flower choices for your very special day. An appointment is necessary because she sits with you and discusses flowers, ideas, designs, etc. We never refuse a wedding…..we work with you!!!

Teddy’s Florist welcomes corporate accounts. We can furnish you with plants that thrive in offices and floral arrangements, fruit and gourmet baskets for your business relationships.

Our shop serves the following areas: Astoria, Long Island City, Jackson Heights, Sunnyside, Woodside, Bayside, Whitestone, Flushing, Roosevelt Island, Maspeth, Middle Village, Elmhurst & Corona. For Manhattan orders, delivery sent through wire-service only, which we will be more than happy to accommodate.

We deliver to all local funeral homes and hospitals. Please call us directly if you require delivery to a funeral home or hospital in Queens other than what is listed below, delivery fees will be charged according to area:

Funeral Homes: Antonopoulos/Farenga, Astoria, Cobbs, Conway, Drago, Leo Kearns, Kennedy-Roth, Lloyd, Gleason, Migliore, Morisco, O’Shea-Hoey, Papavero and Quinn.

Hospitals: Elmhurst, Flushing, Mt. Sinai of Queens, North Shore University at Forest Hills, NY Hospital Medical Center of Queens, St. John’s Queens.

Our shop is open from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Saturday. We are closed on Sundays except for holidays.

To assure on-time delivery in our local area during the busy holiday seasons, please place your order at least two (2) days prior to the holiday. Place out-of-state deliveries at least three (3) days before the holiday. Our shop is open on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, Easter and Mother’s Day. We are closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.

A local delivery fee of $6.95 will be added to each order for each address. For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee will vary. Please place orders for same day delivery as early in the day as possible.

We do not make deliveries on Sunday, except for holidays that fall on Sundays. Delivery of orders to rural routes cannot be guaranteed.

For international orders, please call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet. International orders must be placed with us three (3) days prior to the requested delivery date.
